This was a really tasty dough. It was so fun to make and create! We had to heap on the rancher so it wasnt too shallow after it melted. We baked it in parchment. As soon as it was cooled it came off like a dream. But it was quite sticky before then. If the candy part was too shallow we added some to it as it cooled. It melted beautifully.

I’ve tried many recipes for Pasta e Fagioli Soup; it is one of my all time favorite soups to eat on a cold winter day, but none of them tasted quite right, until I found yours. I made it with half hamburger and half ground hot Italian sausage, just because I prefer a little spicy in my food. This is by far the best that I’ve made. I’m so glad that I found your recipe and I’m looking forward to trying others from your collection.
