The Best Coffee Smoothie Recipe!

Who doesn't love a quick breakfast that makes mornings easy? One that also satisfies hunger, tastes great, and contains simple ingredients you may likely already have on hand. This quick coffee banana smoothie checks all the boxes.

Made with just a handful of ingredients, it’s sweetened without any refined sugars and has an irresistible rich chocolate mocha taste. Plus, with the addition of oat flour, it’s super thick and creamy and can easily be turned into a coffee smoothie bowl, too.

You can even make it with decaf coffee so that it’s suitable for those who are sensitive to caffeine.

I’ll show you how to make it in minutes so you can whip it up in no time, no matter how crazy your mornings may be. And on those days you have a little extra time top it with fresh whipped cream (or coconut whipped cream to keep it vegan) and chocolate sauce for a real treat!

One sip of this exceptionally flavorful smoothie and you'll instantly fall in love!

Starbucks Copycat Pumpkin Spice Latte

This simple, sip-able drink is made with pumpkin puree, creamy milk, strong coffee or espresso, a sweet whipped cream topping, and crucial ingredient - plenty of flavorful pumpkin pie spice!

It comes together quickly and there are a several different ways you can make it (see ideas below). Plus with this recipe you can make it year round rather than waiting for the local coffee shop to make it seasonally.

You'll find this warm pumpkin spice latte to be the highlight of lazy fall weekends, the most welcome treat to bring along on chilly autumn walks, or it will make for a tasty pick me up to start a Monday.

If it's still hot out where you live you can also make it into an iced latte. Just use a little less milk, chill thoroughly, then serve it over ice.

Two great options to serve it - cozy and warm or chilled and refreshing. Either way I think you're going to love it!

Tiramisu https://www.cookingclassy.com/tiramisu/ https://www.cookingclassy.com/tiramisu/#comments Mon, 08 Aug 2022 04:09:57 +0000 https://www.cookingclassy.com/?p=63756 A perfect Tiramisu recipe! This is dessert royalty with a luxurious taste, a velvety texture and an exceptionally delicious blend of flavors. And thanks to the use of store-bought lady fingers it's a rather easy dessert to make (you just need a little patience for cooling and layering, but it's most definitely worth the wait!).

What is Tiramisu?

Tiramisu is a beautiful, layered Italian dessert made with lady fingers that have been dipped in strong coffee and aligned in a baking dish, then spread atop is a layer of sweet and fluffy mascarpone custard, and it's dusted with a decadent cocoa finish.

In this tiramisu recipe the layering process is done twice but other versions may have a group of three repetitive layers or just a single set of layers.

It can be made to include a few splashes of alcohol such as rum, brandy or marsala wine, or it can be left out altogether. I prefer without because it really lets the flavors of the coffee and cocoa shine without an overwhelming flavor of alcohol (in a side by side taste test the alcohol free version won for me, but definitely make it how you'd like).

Another difference you'll find among tiramisu is raw eggs or tempered eggs. This version is uses just yolks (I think the whites can have an eggy flavor here), and they are tempered to kill off potential bacteria.

There are several other variations of the dessert. You'll find tiramisu cake, tiramisu cheesecake, there's also tiramisu overnight oats, cupcakes, a martini and trifles.

It also comes in various flavors. This is the coffee and chocolate version but other popular flavors include strawberry tiramisu, matcha, lemon and pumpkin.

This traditional tiramisu is one of my all time favorite desserts! You can't go wrong with those cakey soaked ladyfingers, roasted espresso, rich mascarpone and cream, and a chocolatey cocoa finish. It's such a dreamy dessert!

Iced Coffee

Homemade Iced Coffee

Making iced coffee at home is such an easy process and you only need a few ingredients. The key is just using robust, richly roasted coffee beans and allowing a generous soak time.

When you make at home you get to make it as mild or intense in flavor as you'd like, and adjust it to be as sweet or creamy as you'd like as well. You've also got the option to make it with regular or decaf coffee as well.

No need to leave the house early to take the extra time to stop by the coffee shop when you can make it at home in minutes (just plan some extra time to let the ground beans soak overnight).

Plus you don't need any fancy equipment here. You have the option of using store-bought coarsely ground coffee beans or grinding whole beans on your own.

Then from there you just need a sieve, and cheesecloth or a coffee filter to strain it.

It's a delicious iced coffee that's equally as good as you'll get at any coffee shop and you can make it for a fraction of the cost!
