Baked oats have been around for a years and became very popular from a TikTok recipe.
The difference between these and baked oatmeal is that the ingredients for baked oats are all pulverized in a blender leaving the oats ground up fine, and with baked oatmeal the oatmeal is left whole and everything is just stirred together in a mixing bowl.
Though the ingredients between the two are very similar their textures are quite different. These are more muffin-like while baked oatmeal is more like a chewy oat breakfast casserole. Both are so delicious just unique in their own way.
I tried the viral version of baked oats but felt it was a bit spongy so modified it based off what I thought would offer a better texture (less egg and banana, adding liquid, etc). And I couldn't resist adding a dab of butter, feel free to add two if you'd like for richer oats.
Try all the tasty flavor variations to discover your personal favorite! I'm still trying to pick a favorite myself because I love all of them.

Are you ready for a new favorite pie? With this dessert, you get all the classic s'mores flavors blended into a three-layered incredibly decadent pie that's served perfectly chilled and refreshing!
Usually, we all think of s'mores as a summer dessert, but thanks to this pie you can have a s'mores dessert any day of the year when the craving strikes. I love taking it to Thanksgiving dinner, because you definitely need some chocolate to compliment the pumpkin pie. Plus, this is an easy pie to make ahead of time and doesn't require the oven!
It begins with a simple homemade graham cracker base (I include a hint of salt to balance out the sweetness of the pie), then it's layered with a silky smooth chocolate filling that melts in your mouth, and topped with a meringue (the kind that will remind you of fluffy marshmallows).
And last but not least—it's toasted to a stunning golden brown finish with a culinary torch!
The only difficult part of making this pie is waiting to dive in. There may just be a slice missing when you take it to the party, it's just too irresistible!

]]>There's nothing quite like a cup of hot cocoa on a blistery winter day! Whether it's after an evening of visiting holiday lights, spending the day skiing, sledding, or playing in the snow hot chocolate is always the answer and the tastiest way to warm up.
This cozy and warm drink is decadently chocolatey, lusciously creamy, and it's made with just 6 ingredients (once you include the milk to prepare it).
It incorporates chocolate in two forms - both bars and cocoa powder for a pure, real deal chocolate flavor!
Then it also has a secret ingredient of malted milk powder. Which is an ingredient commonly found in old fashioned milkshakes.
It's so tasty and the prefect upgrade to this hot cocoa mix recipe. It adds a hint of that unique malted flavor. You can usually find in the baking isle or dry beverages section at the grocery store (another option is to buy it online).
Once you try this homemade hot chocolate mix you'll likely be hooked and will have a hard time going back to any store-bought mix again. We are completely obsessed with it!
If only it could pass for a decent breakfast and we would be tempted to start every morning with it.
These cookies have the perfect chocolate intensity. Not too overwhelming bitter and dark but definitely a tasty step above milk chocolate. And they are easily a hundred times better than any boxed brownie mix cookie!
Around here we are completely obsessed with them and their deep complex flavor. I think they'll quickly become a new favorite cookie at your house too, especially for those who love chocolate!
They are a quick and easy to make cookie (you can have them ready in 30 minutes) and they always will satisfy those chocolate cravings!
Two of the best classic desserts come together to create one unforgettable treat. Premium brownie flavor in fun individual cookie form.
What's not to love?
It's supremely delicious and destined to be a highlight of any dinner or celebration!
This is one of the dreamiest pies with its trio of layering, its silky smooth texture, and its abundant decadence of chocolate flavor. You’ll find it’s even a step up from the traditional old classic since chopped chocolate is included as well rather than just cocoa powder.
It tastes just like chocolate pudding but in pie form!
Sure during the holidays we all love our fruity pies but some sort of chocolate pie is always a welcome change and definitely deserves a place in the line up. Chocolate lovers will thank you.
It will be savored down to the last creamy topped crumb and may likely become a repeatedly requested tradition each holiday season!
There are a few steps to it, especially if you prepare the homemade pie crust but it's worth every bit of effort and overall it is a straightforward easy method to follow. A critical step is just that you ensure the filling is thickened well over the stovetop so you're pie will be firm enough to hold up when sliced.
If you find you are short on time to make this completely from scratch pie you could try my easy chocolate mousse pie instead (then save this recipe for when time allows). It's super fluffy and equally as tempting!
