Maple Pecan Granola

Maple Pecan Granola has a delicious autumn flavor that’s perfect for yogurt parfaits, smoothies, ice cream toppings, cereal, or just snacking. Toasted oats, crunchy pecans, and sweet, rich maple syrup make this homemade granola so much better than store-bought versions.
If you haven’t started making your own granola yet there’s no better time than now! Homemade granola is my favorite and it really is so easy to make. And when you make it at home you get it to choose exactly what goes into it. Grab a large bowl and your favorite ingredients and create some new recipes of your own!
Maple Pecan Granola Recipe
This recipe is probably my favorite granola recipe to date. And the smell that fills your home while it’s baking is simply dreamy. Plus I get to smell it again every time I open up the mason jar I’ve stored it away in. You might just find me tucked away in my pantry sniffing away at my mason jar :).
Granola can easily be adjusted to your personal preferences. If you like larger clustering, you can increase your wet ingredients and allow the dry ingredients to clump together more without spreading them apart with a spatula. Switch up your nuts—use walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, or almonds. I think these granola clusters would be even more delicious with dried fruit like cranberries or raisins for a fall taste. And don’t forget chocolate chips if you want this to be a treat!
Healthy eaters can add more powerful foods, like chia seeds. Honey or agave can be used as a sweetener, too. Skip the egg white for coconut oil to make this fully vegan, and use certified gluten-free oats if you’re gluten-free!
My favorite way to eat this perfectly crisp granola is to stir it in strawberry or blueberry Greek yogurt but you can definitely just eat it plain (it’s the perfect snack to have on hand when you get those afternoon munchies) or serve it up in a bowl with milk (my personal preference is almond milk). And if you want to get fancy, make layered breakfast parfaits with fresh fruit!
This is one of those recipes I will turn to time and time again. A new healthy breakfast fav right here!
